Carbon steel – EN 10270-1 SH/DH
It’s a patented cold-drawn wire. There are several classes that differ in chemical composition and, in particular, through tensile strength. The maximum operating temperature is about 80 °C. The SH class is used for compression, tension or torsion springs subject to medium-high static stress or slightly dynamic stress. For high static stress or medium dynamic stress, DH class is used.
