Stainless steel UNI EN ISO 6931–1.4310
This is the most common spring wire. It belongs to the austenitic steel family. It has a good compromise between corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. It can be used at temperatures of up to 250 °C. Although it is a stainless steel, it has a certain degree of magnetic permeability: the magnet sticks.
